Sheryl Hansford
Director

Qualifications – 18 years experience in Local Government, Associate Membership to the New Zealand Planning Institute

Sheryl has over 18 years of experience in both local government, planning and the regulatory environment. Sheryl has spent the last 11 years as a Resource Consents Planner at the Far North District Council.

Sheryl has a wealth of knowledge and experience with the planning and development processes, and has experience in consultation and attending Council hearings. Sheryl is from the Far North, and lives on a lifestyle block with her family on the outskirts of the Kaitaia Township.

Sheryl’s time in local government has provided her with experience with a wide range of land-use and subdivision consents in the urban, coastal, and rural areas. Sheryl has established a reputation for efficiently progressing projects, and achieving optimum outcomes for clients.

Rochelle Jacobs
Director

Qualifications – Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning, Massey University, Intermediate Membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute.

Rochelle has 10 years’ experience as a Planner, specialising in resource consents for both landuse and subdivision. She has also worked with the Council Policy Department producing various plan changes. She is experienced in preparing outline plan applications and waivers, concessions, liquor licences and other RMA consenting applications. Rochelle is from the Far North, currently living in Okaihau, near Kerikeri. Growing up and working in the area for a number of years she is grateful to call this beautiful place home.

Rochelle is experienced in Council consenting processes having previously worked for the local Council for a number of years. She has experience in undertaking consultation with local iwi and hapu groups, neighbouring parties, and various other interested groups. Rochelle is experienced in Council hearings and is confident to represent clients on Council Planning and Resource Management Act matters.

Rochelle has worked with the Maori Land Court providing planning advice to local iwi and hapu groups looking to build on whanau land. She has worked with various agencies to bring together developments under both the Resource Management Act and Te Ture Whenua Act.
